Udoji hunger for more goal for Kano Pillars

The former Enyimba captain opened his goals account for Sai Masu Gida on Sunday, and he has promised to help them win more games with his goals

Chinedu Udoji is pleased to have scored his first goal for Kano Pillars in their 1-0 victory over Katsina United in Sunday’s Nigeria Professional Football League encounter at the Sani Abacha Stadium.

The former Enyimba international captain scored the only goal that gave coach Kadiri Ikhana all three points after connecting with Rabiu Ali’s cross in the 27th minute, and he has he vowed to score more goals for the Kano-based side.

Udoji, who helped the Elephants of Aba clinch their seventh NPFL title last two seasons reunited with his former coach at the Kano-based club at the end of the 2015/16 league season.

"I actually started my professional career in Kano so it is a dream come true to play for Pillars,” Udoji told NPFL website.

"I am happy to score my first goal for Pillars today. We know our target this season. I hope to score more goals and help the club."

Kano Pillars will travel to Sagamu for their next game against Remo Stars FC.
