Dikko, Fresh thumbs up Malikawa as Kano SWAN launches it maiden edition calendar
Second Vice Chairman of the Nigeria Football Federation NFF, Mallam Shehu Dikko has praised the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria Kano chapter under the leadership of Idris Malikawa, for it positive reportage in sports at all level.
Dikko who made this known at the first edition of Kano state SWAN 2017 calendar launching in Kano state
"Malikawa is really trying to re-brand SWAN in Kano State since he came on board although its really challenging but if you continue like Kano state would be more popular among other associations' Dikko said.
Dikko declared the official launching of the calendar opened with 650, thousands stating that 'on behalf of NFF we support the calendar with 200,000. And from LMC, 200, 000 while from my own end 250,000 Naira.
Also the memorable event was chairman referees appointment committee NFF. Alhaji Ahmed Yusuf Fresh applauded the new face of SWAN Kano state chapter through it chairman Idris Malikawa for giving the state's a vista of hope since he came in September 2014. However urged the rest of 36 states association in SWAN to emulate what is happening in Kano for a launching pad
"Mr chairman is working hard and with this great occasion that shows he's plans to move the association forward and I want implore other member association under national SWAN to take a cue from this revenue creation 'launching of its calendar' as it would help the association in many ways to generate revenue in different places.' Fresh said
Jagaban of Nigeria football also gave supports of 200, 000 Naira to derive the swan calendar. '
"On behalf of my humble self I want back your event with 100, 000 and from my beauty wife, children 100, 000 Naira.'
Fresh promised latter at the Dinner/Award night fresh was recognized as a results of his developmental contribution to football, while Mallam Shehu Dikko received an award due to his monumental achievement since he became the LMC boss It would be recalled that SWAN it self was established in the year 1964, whilst Kano State Chapter came to prominence in 1972.
