CAFCL: CAF names centre referees for Rangers, Zamalek clash
As the heavy weight clash in the CAF Champions League between Nigerian Champions Enugu Rangers and three time Africa Champions Zamalek of Egypt gathers momentum, CAF has named a centre referee for both leg of the encounter.
English born, South African referee Daniel Benett will be at the centre when Rangers travel to Borg El-Rabi stadium, Egypt on march 12, for the first leg of the encounter while Gabon's Eric Ontogo-Castane will be in charge of the second leg when Rangers will be hosting Zamalek on march 19.
Rangers got through to the next round when they edged JS Saoura of Algeria 1-1 aggregate while Zamalek were drawn bye after they became runner-up last season when they lost to Mamelodi Sundown.
