NPFL: SECOND STANZA IS THE TOUGHEST TIME - ALOMA

Kano Pillars left back Idris Aloma, has lot of expectation as the Nigerian Professional Football League resume for Second stanza at the weekend.

Aloma who ply his trade with the Sai Masu Gida side said his perception about the league is far more than expected, he believes that things will get into shape in this second stanza of the league.

On his part he believe that the second stanza is the toughest time of the league and the management are very much optimistic to see the lads turn things around.

“This is the toughest time in the Nigeria Professional Football League as long as the second stanza is concerned and we are fully prepared for it.

“Our aim is to be at the continent, if possible winning the league,” he told kelvianoMedia.blogsport.com

“Even the management and are not happy that we are in 14th position on the log.

“The management still believe on us to turn things around in the second stanza and gain our rightful position on the log,” Aloma said

Kano Pillars occupy 14th position on the log with 24 points accrue from 19 games played so far on the first stanza.

Pillars will face Niger Tornadoes at the Sani Abacha Stadium, Kano on Sunday in an encounter of match-day 20 of the Nigerian Professional Football League second stanza.
