Many sports philanthropist have tip Nigeria to excel in Russia with the crops of players currently in the team and the tactical experience of Gernot Rohr and his backroom staff should huge positive results as many believe the Super Eagles will do well when they face other countries in the group stage.

Although, many feel that the 1994 team still remain the best World Cup squad Nigeria has put together. When it comes to the World Cup party, the glory of 1994 squad will come to mind with the likes of Finidi George, Jay-Jay Okocha, Peter Rufia, Rashidi Yekeni amongst others were outstanding during their day's with the Super Eagles and still look fresh in the minds of many who loves the game of football and follow it with keen instrest.

The World is fast evolving with new techniques and tactics that suit the philosophy and playing pattern of every team, but Nigeria needs to learn from the past mistakes if they must surpass the 1994, 1998 world Cup experience.

Head Coach of the Super Eagles, Gernot Rohr have released 30 Man Provisional List with the option of picking only 23 man squad for the World Cup. Selecing of players has been difficult task in the past as agents, politicians, Sports Administrators looby for a slot to fill in their own players whether he is good or not for the Eagles. But Rohr should opt for his best legs to execute his game plans.

Nigeria worst outting in the FIFA World Cup was during Korea/Japan 2002 and South Africa 2010 with Nigeria crashing out from the group stage picking only one point respectively. The World Cup stage is not a place for experiment rather an avenue to showcase the stuff that your team is made off, if you must be among elite nations that have lift the World Cup trophy.

Nigeria will be parading the youngest squad alongside Iceland with almost all the players featuring at the World Cup for the first time, the likes of Alex Iwobi, Ekong Troost, Abdullahi Shehu, Kelechi Iheanacho, Ikechukwu Ezenwa, Francis Uzoho and many others.

Notwithstanding, the Nigeria Football Federation commitment towards ensuring hitch free outting for the Super Eagles with match bonuses laid to rest, Nigeria needs to reflect on thier past appearance at the World Cup to cement every loopholes.

For the first time in history, Nigeria qualify for the World Cup with one game to spare should not be a moment for celebration but a time to rewrite the wrongs of past World Cup Appearance if Nigeria must progress to the quarter finals and beyond.

The support seems to be massive from all works of life, milestone achieve by the Amaju Pinnick lead board of the Nigeria Football Federation as sponsorship deals worth billions of Naira and partnership seal and dusted to have a hitch free performance and avoid the unthinkable should be a morale booster for the Eagles to soar high when the FIFA World Cup takes centre stage in Russia.

Nigeria need to surpass the previous World Cup appearances by looking back to those mistakes that made the Super Eagles failed to book a quarter finals spot and use that as a catalysts for positive change and turn around the fortunes of investors.

the crème de la crème and captain of the Super Eagles, John Obi Mikel, alongside Victor Moses, Ogenyi Onazi, Wilfred Ndidi, Ahmed Musa, Odion Ighalo will lead the team to surpass precious records if put into consideration errors of the past and do the country proud in Russia.

Nigerians should hope for the best and be optimistic for a turn around of positive results when the FIFA World Cup in Russia gets underway in June.
