In the Female light flyweight category Favour Wariboko (Gokana) beat Medford Favour (Etche) by a Unanimous decision.

Quarter final matches in the Male Light-fly Weight and flyweight categories saw John Dick of the Friends Boxing Club beat Henry Wisdom also of the Friends Boxing.

Meschak Jacob Obomanu of AKULGA was declared winner after the referee stopped the bout between him and ThankGod Amadi of Ikwerre LGA due to injury sustained by Amadi.

Jackie Ayama from Okrika was also declared winner following injury sustained by his opponent Precious Agaramoenee of the Friends of Boxing club while Gift Oparaodu beat Keme Biebara by points to win the fifth bout at the boxing gym on day 1. Both boxers are of the Friends of Boxing club.
