Adesokan set target for All African Senior Badminton Championships

Adesokan
who spoke after the mascot unveiling in Port Harcourt stated that the event has
attracted a lot of attention to the game of badminton which over the years was
not known to many.
The
Nigeria number one player in the female category expresses her joy as she is
set to witnessing the biggest event for the first time in Nigeria.
“I
feel good because for me this is the first time am going to be witnessing this kind of big
event, making badminton known to so many people even the greatest”.
“Coming
to Port Harcourt is a very wonderful thing that has happened to all the
badminton players, for us badminton is not well known but this big event has
brought a very big attraction to the game”.
“We
want the host and win this championships, because to whom much is given much is expected,
our president and the board has really given us a lot so we have to give back our best, so we are not hoping for any less than winning the tournament, we

The All Africa Senior Badminton championships showpiece event will see 18 Africa countries that have registered parade their best male and female badminton players that will compete for
honours.
