1st Tonye Jekiri PHCity Basketball Challenge: Okrika Hawks Battle SBMF For Final Slot, As DA-F Kings Lock Horns With E-Bluk in Semifinals clash

The road to the final of the first Tonye Jekiri PHCity Basketball Challenge get more interesting and mouthwatering clash set to ignite the basketball court in Port Harcourt.

Two teams will definitely make it to final of the competition at the end of the Semi final stage and it could be either SBMF or Okrika Hawks stepping into the final blast of the competition with the hope of facing DA-F Kings or E-Bluk in the final.

Prior to this stage, SBMF maintained their unbeaten run defeating E-Bluk 51-46, P. Town Ballers 45-22 and Peace Markers 34-44. They will definitely bring their 'A' performance to the amusement of spectators against impressive Okrika Hawks. 

Okrika Hawks lost their first game to DA-F Kings 37-47, had to bounce to see off Favour 57-33 and a smooth ride over Ricday 57-38 to qualify for the semis.

In another semifinal encounter will witness DA-F Kings go toe-to-toe with E-Bluk in a fierce dunks, rebounds and three pointers shot to set up a high profile clash.

A win for either side will see them advance to the final of the competition.

DA-F Kings edge out Okrika Hawks in the opening game, going on to win Ricday 54-50 and Favour Arena 59-44.

Meanwhile, E-Bluk managed to bounce back from the lose they suffer in the hands of Soso Bobmanuel Foundation (SBMF) to wallop Peace Markers 42-32.

Unanimous decision due to technical issues experience in the last group game saw E-Bluk secure a Semifinals place after taking the lead 9-21 heading into the third quarter over P. Town Ballers.

The Semifinal games will take place at the Hoopers basketball court in Port Harcourt, venue for the 1st Tonye Jekiri PHCity Basketball Challenge.

DA-F Kings vs E-Bluk - 5pm
