Nigeria Wallop Libya 4-0, Progress to the final round of AFCON U23 Qualifying race

Nigeria’s U23 men's football team, the Dream Team VII sailed into the next round  of Africa zone 2020 Olympics qualifiers series defeating Libya 4-0 (4-2 on aggregate) in Asaba

Man of the match and hat trick hero Victor Osimhen opened the scores in the 33rd minute from Nwakali's blocked Freekick, as the flourgate of goals were open for the dream team VII to ensure they grab their destiny with both hands.

The high spirited dream team VII hunger for more goals became rapid as they started firing from all cylinders with the woodwork denying plethora of gaol scoring opportunities.

The second half started with the under 23 dream team gaining 60% of ball possession, and it wasn't long enough before Victor Osimhen added his second goal bringing the scores to 2-2 on aggregate.

Nwakali and Chukwu Eze in the middle of the pack continues to mahot the midfield with great intense and class as they were instrumental dictating play in the midfield.

Fifteen minutes later Victor Osimhen completed his hat trick of the afternoon with a superb volley pass from Nwakali leaving Alharam stranded.

Osimhen contributed to the fourth goal deep into stoppage time as his goalmouth effort gifting substitute Okereke an emphatic opportunity to slot pass the keeper of Libya Alharam.

Nigeria will now face either of the winner of the Kenya/Sudan game in the next round of the Africa Under 23 qualifying series in June.
