Seychelles national team coach Gavin Jeanne boastful of his side flying pass Super Eagles of Nigeria in a dead rubber AFCON qualifiers tie in Asaba

Seychelles currently sit at the bottom of the group standings, and are expected to cause little trouble for Super Eagles side that are already through to AFCON 2019

The game will be the final round of matches to be played ahead of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations to be hosted by Egypt from 21 June – 19 July

Speaking to www.kelvianomedia.blogspot.com.ng Gavin Jeanne says that every game is a big game for his side as they are the smallest country in Africa

“Every single game Seychelles plays is a big game, we are the smallest country in Africa and every game is big”. Jeanne said

“We are playing the Super Eagles, off course it’s going to be tough they are the big bird we are the small bird, so even small birds can fly”.

Gavin Jeanne further  explain that football in Seychelles is not at a good point at the moment but believes in years to come things would be difference for football to have a new shape.

“We are starting over now we know that football is not at a good point at the moment so we are staring over, maybe in the next fifteen to twenty years we will see the difference”.
