Basketball: Port Harcourt agog for Nalrish Basketball Classic

The first edition of Nalrish Basketball Classic event takes centre stage at the Basketball Court, Niger Street, Port Harcourt. 

The eight teams vying for the grand prize is divided into two groups A and B respectively.

Teams in group A are Olumeni Warriors, DA-F Basketball, Favour Arena, and Ricday Basketball while Group B has Okrika Hawks, SBMF, Elekahia and Tigers.

According to the organisers of the basketball classic, (Senior Citizens Youth & Wisdom Development) target is ensuring that youth restiveness is drastically reduced.

The Chairman main organising committee Kenneth Abiobua said he is impressed with the participating teams at the maiden edition of the basketball classic.

"It's a great one, one of a kind that's happening in PH City".

"This is somebody that has decided in her own little way to give back and it's a great thing". Kenneth echoed"

He added that the Nalrish Basketball Classic event will be sustained .
