Attack on Referee is not Good for Football Development says Ndasi Denis

Cameroon International and Kano Pillars FC central back Ndasi Denis has condemn the attack on match officials during matches in the ongoing domestic league NPFL.

Denis maintained that Referees are the pioneers of every football matches without them there will be nothing like football officiating, adding that hitting hard on them will not at all develop football in any country.

Denis who is the only Central Back defender who has scored 2 goals in the NPFL also condemned the idea of allowing fans encroaching into the pitch where security men are suppose to stop them.

"Though it is not new in Africa, it happens in other countries where fans attack referees whenever officiating did not favour them,"

"Its time CAF look into it and make it a duty with country Federations. Football is a professional game so as the officiating. I think fans need to be educated on this more," Denis concluded.
