IKWERREMAN1000: Acheru Charges Students, Set for Media Parley

As the countdown to Ikwerreman 1000 event for Sunday, April 1, 2018 continues; a media parley has been scheduled to hold on Tuesday, March 27 in Port Harcourt. 

According to a release by the Ikwerreman 1000 milestone organisers led by Ufuoma Egbamuno, the forum is designed for the celebrant China ‘Ikwerreman’ Acheru to interact with members of his immediate community “The Media”.

The parley holds at the Ernest Ikoli Press Centre, Moscow Road, Port Harcourt on Tuesday (today) at 11:00am.

In the same vein, activities to celebrate Ikwerre1000 milestone got off on Monday when the team paid a visit to CITA International Secondary School Igbo-Etche, in Etche Local Government Area of Rivers State on Monday (yesterday).

The visit which was earmarked to inspire the younger generation to keep tabs on Nigerian football as well as also encouraging the students to aspire for greater heights in their endeavors. The ‘Ikwerreman' in his address to the students challenged them to always be the best in whatever they find themselves doing.

Tesso Ayo is one of the senior students at CITA International Secondary School and she shared more insight into what she learnt, saying that anything is achievable while also stressing on the importance of record keeping.

The Proprietress of CITA International Secondary School, Ms. Bibi Nwokidi  described the visit of the Ikwerreman1000 team and the achievements of Acheru as a wonderful idea; noting that children nowadays need a role model who will encourage them in developing and creating achievable  dreams for themselves.

China ‘Ikwerreman’ Acheru will be celebrating his 1000th live football game watched at the stadium when Go-Round FC host MFM in a Nigerian Professional Football League game at the Kridera stadium in Omoku on Sunday.
