NNL: Samson Siasia Stadium Gets A Pass Mark

The Samson Siasia Stadium, Yenagoa has been given a pass mark to host league matches by the inspection team of the Nigeria National League (NNL),
World class Sports Facility Construction firm, Monimichelle recently completed the installation of the GEO technology, which is 95 percent natural lead free synthetic grass pitch with shock absorption system that absorbs hydrostatic pressure from athletes thereby reduces injuries.

Mr Chidi Offor, who inspected the stadium expressed delight with the quality of work done as he wished that Bayelsa United home matches could be on television for all Nigerians to see.

The Enugu State FA Chairman was also impressed with the drainage system installed on the pitch. Water from down pour can flow into the underground gutters within minutes, thus ensuring that a match can be played as the playing surface do not hold water.

Offor, He however wish Bayelsa United successful season in the Nigeria National League (NNL) which will commence in April according to the latest released by the (NNL) board.

On the part of the Chief Executive Officer of Monimichelle Sports Facility Construction Ltd, Mr Ebi Egbe who alongside Bayelsa United Chairman Mr Tony Ogola and Secretary Sir Braveman Wodi State Football Association Vice Chairman Mr Julius Laye, Secretary, Diseye Nwankwe, all assured Bayelsans that the restoration boys will return to the elite division at the end of the (NNL) tourney.

Offor further thanked Governor Henry Seriake Dickson for investing so much fund in providing  such a world class facility. But he advised that proper maintenance should be carried out on the turf.
