Nigeria To Face Serbia Without Mikel Obi

Nigeria will face Serbia without the service of John Obi Mikel in the midfield as Nigeria take on Serbia in London on Tuesday, 27th March. 

Mikel who also miss out of the game against Poland were Nigeria won by 1-0 is set to miss another crucial friendly against Serbia. 

The InteInternation Friendly is a bid up game for the FIFA 2018 World Cup in Russia  as Nigeria were group alongside Croatia, Iceland and Argentina. 

Captain of the Nigeria Super Eagles John Mikel who currently plays for Tianjin Teda in Chinese Super League took to his official Twitter page to confirm that he will not be available for Tuesday's game against Serbia.


"Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond my control I will not be on the field for our game v Serbia tomorrow. I am sad, and frustrated, but giving my full support to the team for another WIN!"
