Bayelsa Male Handball book their place to
the finals to set a match against Team Rivers following a hard fought 21-17 win
over Team Akwa Ibom Male Handball in the second leg encounter of the Tyroll
& Thompson maiden edition of the South-South under 18 Male & Female Handball
Championship.
Goodday Andrew gave Bayelsa Handball Team
the lead to continue their unbeaten run in the competition, in a nutshell
George Effiong, Micah Udoekong, and Basil Nyong were the power house for Akwa Ibom
Male Handball Team puting up a hard fought to ensure their side level the game
which ended 05-13 in favour of the Bayelsa Handball Team at First Half.
The second half became much intense as Akwa
Ibom Handball Team mounting pressure on the Bayelsa Male Handball Team to close
the gap; Sinizibe Appah, Isaiah Ogbobo and Goodday Andrew produce major goals
to see Bayelsa Male Handball Team set up a match against Rivers Male Handball
Team in the finals of the competition.
