DA-F Founder Engages kids with Children’s Day Cruise in Port Harcourt

The Founder of DA-F Basketball
Program, Coach Fubara Onyanabo, set to host children tagged, Celebrating the African Child and in partnership with "Athletes for Peace and Re-Orientation Initiative" during the Children Day Celebration on Friday May 27 at the basketball court in Port Harcourt.

in Port Harcourt stated that the one day basketball event, which is aim at
celebrating the kids on children days, will witness over 200 kids from the
street of Port Harcourt taking part in the celebration. It is free to the
children that will find their way to the Basketball arena and includes games, meals
and other giveaways.
Coach Fubara does his best to keep
in touch with the children, especially as they continue to grow with the game
of basketball. The benefits of the relationships he forges are mutual. These
values are inspired by Coach Fubara’s experiences with DA-F Basketball Program spending
countless hours training and mentoring young kids on basketball, at the home ground
of Rivers Hoopers.
In commemoration of the 2022
Children’s Day celebration, Coach Fubra Onyanabo, will use the platform to
re-orientate basketball lovers and children across the state to uphold moral
and ethical principles and embrace personal hygiene.
The event will also feature mentorship session, games like sack race, tug of war, shooting context, battle of the twins, king of the court and many more other side events.
