Rivers Angels General Manager lauds Aisha Falode on New Sponsorship Strive
… Advised the Organisers to deal properly with the Sponsorship deal

The General Manager of Rivers Angels, Matilda Otuene has commended the NWFL Chairman over the new sponsorship deal with Tulcan for Nigeria Women Football League Super Six in Edo State.
Maltida who also doubles as the
club owner’s chairperson said the deal is worth commendable and express
happiness the deal is timely being the desire of all women clubs owner’s in the
country for the league to have a reputable sponsors.

Angels also share her observation on kitting all club with Tulcan Energy as
clash of interest if a club in the women league have secure shirt sponsorship deal with any
reputable firm before the NWFL sponsorship deal just as we have with some clubs
in the men’s league.

Matilda advised the organisers to manager the deal properly with the new
sponsorship secured by the leadership of the Nigeria Women Football League in
order not to affect other club shirt sponsorship deal.
STATEMENT BY THE GENERAL MANAGER OF RIVERS ANGELS FOOTBALL CLUB,
MATILDA OTUENE:
“Kudos to Aisha Falode, I think
that’s a good strive because, you could see that for better competition we need
sponsorship, yes we are happy that TULCAN Energy Resources is here, we are happy for the new
strive, we want to see the ball rolling, we want to see more sponsorship, we
want to see were women football will be celebrated as it is outside Nigeria”,
“Definitely, I expect the
organisers to be able to manage these situation properly, because like you know
this is what everybody wants, as a club I want sponsors, the league wants
sponsor so I think is something they should be able to manage properly”,
“Right now, I can’t say much
because I have not been given full details of the sponsorship deal, but I think as
days goes by we will get the details of the sponsorship.
