Ahead of the Nigeria Professional Football League Championship Playoffs, Akwa United star-winger Mfon Udoh says he is optimistic the Promise Keepers will emerge champions at the end of the Playoffs in Lagos.

Akwa United’s Mfon Udoh and Sunusi Ibrahim of Nasarawa United both finished the abridged season tied on 10 goals apiece.

The 'Promise Keepers' will start off their campaign to grabbed a slot for the continent at the end of the playoffs against Sai Musa Gida side, Kano Pillars at the Agege Township Stadium on Tuesday by 5pm Nigeria Time.

The Nigeria Professional Football League all time goal scorer with 23 goals to his name believes he should have made the Super Eagles list released by Gernot Rohr but however, says the list is genuine rating the high standard of Europeans club side.
