Great Calvary Academy emerged champions of the first edition of the Radio Nigeria Treasure FM Kids Football Competition defeating De-Divine Shammah International School 3-0 after a blockbuster encounter played at the Treasure FM Football pitch in Port Harcourt.

Adebayo Oyeloke opened scoring from close range after a through pass from the left flank fell on his left foot as he makes no mistake to break the deadlock in the second half ensuring his side takes the lead after the first half encounter ended goalless.

The first half failed to hit expected heights with clear cut goal scoring opportunities few and far between.

De-Divine Shammah International School had their moment to open up the defence, but failed to utilize plethora of goal scoring opportunities despite making some dangerous moved.

Few minutes later Ifeanyi Enuaora sealed the victory for Great Calvary Academy sending in a thunder shot outside the box leaving the goalkeeper of De-Devine International School hapless in goal thereby increasing the tally to 3-0

The winner of the Radio Nigeria Treasure FM Kids Football Competition smiled home with 50,000, the second place team got their own fair share of 30,000 while the third place team goes home with 10,000 courtesy of the Executive Chairman of Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State, Solomon Eke.
