DA-F Youth Festival: Impression, Raptors Angels in Semi-finals clash, As Bayelsa tackle Ebonyi Female Basketball

The first DA-F Youth Festival tagged 'The Future of Naija Basketball' enter Semi Finals stage as qualified teams set to slug it out for the finals.


In the female under 18 category, Raptors Angels from Lagos will take on Impression Female of Delta in what will be a star performance of the festival between both side.


Impression only managed to lose one game on their way to the Semi slots, losing to Bayelsa 22-13 in their third game of the competition, while they were able to defeat Favour Arena 27-35 and Discover Girls 23-8 In their first two games.


Raptors Angels had a smooth ride on the court winning all their games against SBMF, Ebonyi Female Basketball and DA-F Queens 12-22; 23-29; and to qualify for the Semi finals tie.


"We are hoping for a sweet game, we did so many things by sweating it out day and night to be ready for the game, our coach has been able to lead us and we appreciate him for doing so,"  Faith Currency echoes.


"Our target is to improve from this level to an upper level, and also our dreams is to be famous basketballers and to play outside the shores of this country," Currency added.


Other Semi finals games in the female under 18 category will see Bayelsa lock horns with Ebonyi Female Basketball


Meanwhile, the under 13 category is not left out of the Semi finals games as DA-F Super Kids will do battle with Peace Academy while Bayelsa under 13 team square up against Ricday U13 Basketball


Games will be played at the Basketball Court in Niger Street, Port Harcourt
