WAFU B Qualifiers: Go For The Kill Your Opponent, Rivers SWAN urges Angels

The Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Rivers State chapter has urged the state and country's flagbearers at the WAFU (UFOA B) Women's Champions League qualification tournament, Rivers Angels to go for the kill against their next group opponents on Tuesday.

In a note of encouragement sent to the team by Chairman of the chapter, Comrade Sarah David, the association urged the Jewel of Rivers not to spare the Association Sportive de la Police de Niamey when they come face to face on Tuesday evening.

David noted that it is important that Angels defeat their opponents by as many goals as they can in order to further instill palpable fear in the camps of their future opponents in the tournament.

While saluting their brilliance in the opening win over Hasaacas Ladies of Ghana, she further enjoined the team never to forget that the image and pride of Rivers State and Nigeria at large is what lies on the sole of their boots in Abidjan, Coted'Ivoire.
