V10: PHC 8 Ball Pool league begins in Port Harcourt
All is now set for the commencement of V10 August 2019 Port Harcourt City Eight-ball pool pocket billiard league with a fresh feel as the competition hopes for great upset with a star-studded 16 players field on Sunday in Port Harcourt.
The draw went down at the V10 8 ball pool arena, seeing the last edition champion Arthur Wariso paired against an underdog Jude Inyang in the round of 16 encounter.
Arthur Wariso won the last edition claiming One Hundred Thousand Naira prizes money and the defending champion will be looking to defend his title against new superstar.
Jude Inyang who was paired to face the defending champion believes that it just a game with a tougher opponent and his hopes are still high.
"The draw seems fair, have witnessed it even though its going to be a tough one you can never tell its just a game, first round is always a game and anything can happen, my hopes are still high," Jude told www.kelvianomedia.blogspot.com.ng
"It's a game of three round then the superiority will actually supersede mine, you can never tell this could be a game of chance for me," Jude added.
On his part, Boma Oruamabo said the competition is to create awareness for brands and corporate sponsorship to identify with the game of 8 Ball Pool Pocket billiard.

"The aim is to make the game popular again, create some awareness around it, let it not longer be associated with bars and cigarette,"
"We are actually looking out for brands and corporate sponsorship, so we can have bigger hosting, we also want to have a pool hall which would have numbers of tables so that games can go on simultaneously.
"We are looking at doing interstate and even international competitions, so this is just the very humble beginning of something we hope would be very big," Boma Oruamabo echoes.

The very best of pool players will be at V10 from 2pm on Sunday 11th August, 2019 for kick off as they battle it out for a share of the One Hundred Thousand #100, 000 Naira prize money up for grabbed for the winner while other prizes will be available for the second and third position at the V10 8 ball pool arena in Port Harcourt.
