Russia 2018: Kanu Nwankwo Tips Eagles for Finals, Hip Praises on Nigeria Football Federation

Former Nigeria Super Eagles captain Kanu Nwankwo has hip praises on the Nigeria Football Federation on the level of preparation and friendly games outlined for the Super Eagles before the World Cup proper in Russia.

Kanu Nwankwo who feature for Nigeria during the 2002, 2010 and 2014 world cup commended the leadership of the NFF for ensuring hitch free world cup outing for the Super Eagles in Russia, he also recall during their days with the Super Eagles that there was no much preparation and high profile friendlies games compare to what we have seen now.

Speaking to www.kelvianomedia.blogspot.com.ng, he said "The level of top games they have played it’s much better compare to the time we do play, at that time we do struggle for friendly game but now we can see they have enough". he stated

"So they are in the right track and the team also is in the right track, the coaches are really working hard, the federation is doing their best, is left for we the fans, the supporters to do our beat and pray for them".

Meanwhile, Kanu Nwankwo who have been an integral member of the team in the past have tips the current Super Eagles to surpass the 1994 team and strongly believe the team can get to the finals if the players know how far they can go and have the believe in them.

"I think they can go more than the 1994 team, but it’s easy to tell you where they can go, is left for them to know where they can go, I can tell they can go into the finals because that is my believe".

"But now I can go there to do it for them, they have a very good team, they are very young, playing in their various clubs and doing well.

"This is the first time we have not only 11 players, we have 22 players, and every wing have competition and is healthy when we have a good coach who can coordinate people". Kanu concluded.
