Ibom Marathon: Carnival To Hold December for Upcoming Race

A carnival will be held on the 4th of December 2021 to create awareness and sensitize participants, sponsors and fans for the upcoming Ibom Marathon Race in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.

Over five million naira and consolation prizes will be up for grabs for participants at the 21.1kilometers Ibom Marathon Race scheduled for this December.

The winner of the male category will bag ₦1.5m, first runner up ₦1, second runner up ₦750k. While the winner of the female category will earn ₦1M, first runner up ₦750k and second runner up ₦500k.

The 21.1km marathon billed for the 18th of December 2021 will kick-off at Itam Junction by the Flyover and terminate at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo in Akwa Ibom State.

The race is for all and it will meet up with global standards and properly reward participants.
