Ibom Marathon Registration Deadline Now November 31
Convener of the Ibom Marathon Race, Abraham Ekufre says the deadline for registration of the annual race has been moved to November 31st 2021.
Speaking to reporters, Ekufre said the response from participants, sponsors and potential sponsors has been very encouraging and explained that the deadline for registration was shifted to allow more persons who have indicated interest and plan to participate register.
He added that the race was for all and insists it will meet up with global standards and properly reward participants.
The 25.34km marathon billed for the 18th of December 2021 will kick-off at Itam Junction by the Flyover and terminate at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo in Akwa Ibom State.
Winner of the male category will bag ₦1.5m, first runner up ₦1, second runner up ₦750k. While the winner of the female category will earn ₦1M, first runner up ₦750k and second runner up ₦500k.
