RSBA: Eric Cherish Outclassed Ronald Alalibo in three pointer shot, as DA-F Rising Stars defeat E-Bluk

It was a convincing and overwhelming performance from DA-F Rising Stars as they beat E-Bluk 57-50 in a block buster encounter at the on-going “All Comers Basketball Championship” in Port Harcourt.

 

DA-F Rising Star, Eric Cherish came out firing amassing 24 pointers from 8 three pointers attempt after Ronald Owas Alalibo open the scoring with a three pointer shot.

 

E-Bluk started as a unit but where dismantled by the resilience of Ebuka magical run against a well studded side that have Rivers Hoopers players in their fold.

 

Speaking to www.kelvianomedia.blogspot.com.ng after the game, Eric Cherish stated that his role model in Basketball is Steph Curry of Golden State Warriors of National Basketball Association (NBA) and his aim in basketball is to reach the bigger stage.

 

“My role model in Basketball is Steph Curry, watching him every day improve my games and I decided to model my game around him,”

 

“It’s either the three pointer shot or nothing else; to win the competition is my biggest target and reach the highest peak in basketball”. Eric concluded.

 

Other games played in day two of the competition saw Ricday losing 35-55 to DA-F Bigger Boys who overpowered the young academy side with an impressive displayed, while Soso Bobmanuel Foundation displayed some class but were defeated 43-53 by Okrika Hawks.

 

The high flying side in day two encounter witnessed Olumeni Warriors edge out Pythons Bori Camp 75-43 extending their form to two straight wins in the competition.
