It was another crucial encounter in Umuahia as host tame informed Heartland FC 1-0 in match day seven of the Nigeria Professional Football League decided on Wednesday

Makinwa who joined Abia Warriors at the beginning of the season believes that the back-to-back wins in two Oriental Derby will spoils his team to attained an enviable heights in the league with decent results and impressive performances.

Speaking exclusively to www.kelvianomedia.blogspot.com.ng Coach Henry Makinwa has described the club's win over 'Nazi Millionaire's' as starting point for the Umuahia based side.

"I am very much delighted because we have six points in our kitty from two games and its an abridged league that's makes it very difficult, all teams are putting up their efforts to win every game." Makinwa said.

"I think its a starting point for Abia Warriors to claim a hard start of the season, which is what we hope for, and that's what we are going to work for." He added.

The soft spoken coach, talked about Abia Warrior's next game which is away to El-Kanemi Warriors and he's positive about getting a decent result on the road to put them in good stead.

"I know there is a lot of enthusiasm everywhere, so every game we hope to win to get the three points, when we get there we will see how it goes but our hope is to go to El-Kanemi and fight for three points." Coach Makinwa concluded.
