The Nigeria Professional Football League 2018/2019 has kick off in earnest across the country with big gongs tackle for supremacy in match day one.

El-Kanemi Warriors were better travellers as they pick valuable points on the road stunning the host Akwa United by a late minute strike from Ba'akaka Azikoro  in the 90+4 minutes to denial the "Promise Keepers" sharing the spoils in a filled spark stadium.

ENYIMBA INT'L 2-0 MFM FC
The People's Elephants start off their NPFL campaign on a brighter note as Nelson Ogbonnaya and Abdulrahman Bashir each half goals earn the Aba giant a comfortable win over visitors MFM Football Club.
