China Acheru steps down as Media Chief of Go Round Football Club of Omoku

Nigeria Professional Football League side Go Round Football Club announced the resignation of their media chief, China Acheru

The former defunct Dolphins Media Chief who had spent 12 years of his career before the merger of Dolphins and Sharks Football Club to give birth to now Rivers United is one of the longest serving Media Chief in Nigeria.

A seasoned journalist with many years of experience, one that has witnessed over 1000 live games across the world, is one of the most celebrated and decorated journalist in Port Harcourt.

In a statement via the club official twitter handle stated that their media chief will no longer be with club.

"We announce today that our Media Chief, China Acheru will no longer be with the club."

"Acheru worked with the club since March 2016 and stepped aside on January 13, 2019 to face another Phase of his career."

"His time at the club was marked with improvement in the club's media ratings as well as public perception of Go Round Football Club."

The club wish the outgoing media chief best of luck in the next phase of his career haven't put in tremendous years of serving in making the club a foremost brand across the country.

"We wish him the best in his next endeavour."

Go Round Football Club will begin their campaign against Abia Warriors in Umuahia on match day two of the 2018/2019 Nigeria Professional League Season
