Super Eagles Supporters Club President Endorses NDDC U17 Peace Cup

The decision by the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) to engage the grassroots youth by organising the Under 17 Niger Delta Peace Cup 2021 have received commendations from Nigerians at home and in diaspora.
Top on the list is the President of
the Super Eagles Supporters Club Prince Vincent Okumagba who showered praises
on the organisers saying this is a unifying tool for the Nine States of Niger
Delta region.

Administrator further hinted that the tournament will be a hub for talents
discovery for the National Teams.
“I have never underestimated the
power of Football as it has always been a powerful tool to bring the nation
together.”
“I want to use this opportunity to
thank the Niger Delta Development Commission, for putting up such a wonderful
tournament as this.”
“The Niger Delta is blessed with
talents and I'm sure if this is maintained with good facilities in the region,
we will have more players from the zone represent the Super Eagles”.
The maiden U-17 Niger Delta Peace
Cup football competition sponsored by the Niger Delta Development Commission,
NDDC, in collaboration with the Grassroot Sports Federation, South South zone,
will take place across the nine states that make up the Niger Delta, will take
place in March, 2021.
The Super Eagles Supporters Club in
a bid to show support will be live at the opening ceremony as the Akwa Ibom
State Chapter Chairman Mr Alfred Daniel who is a member of the accommodation
committee will ensure everything is in place to receive the National President
Prince Vincent Okumagba on the 15th of March 2021.
