Rivers State Basketball Association Set to Host All Comers Basketball Championship in Port Harcourt

The Rivers State Basketball Association is now set to hosting the All Comers Basketball Championship tagged “Come Let’s Ball” schedule to commence from Tuesday 2nd to Saturday 6th of March 2021 at the Basketball Court, 59 Niger Street, Port Harcourt.

 

The event which is part of the association’s initiative to developed and make basketball popular in  Rivers State, is gear towards keeping the youths busy, nurture and discover new raw talents in the state.

 

The All Comers Championship will witness high flying dazzling dunks, mesmerizing dribbles, blind and no look passes, logo/three pointers shots.

 

According to the organisers of the event, notably prize will be giving to the best three teams and also individual award will be presented to outstanding participants including: the most valuable player and the best five players of the championship.

 

The Championship will see 10 teams slung it out against each other for the crown includes: Olumeni Warriors, DA-F Bigger Boys, E-Bluk, UST Hurricanes, Olumeni Tigers, Soso Bobmanuel Foundation, Favour Arena Basketball Club, Okrika Hawks, Ricday Basketball Academy, and DA-F Rising Stars

 

All covid 19 protocols will be strictly adhered to and only the first fifty spectators will be allowed to watch each game.
