Akwa United yet to win at home as Plateau United continues unbeaten run

Akwa United failed to win yet again at home to relegation battles Nasarawa United in match day five of the Nigeria Professional Football League.

A moment of reliefs for the "Promise Keepers" as Ndifereke Effiong converted the spot kick to hand Akwa United the lead just before the blast of whistle for the break and what seems to be John Obuh first home win in front of cheering fans of the club.
