Nigeria Customs up against Lagos Legends 

The curtain fell on Day One of the Nigeria Premier Basketball League (NPBL) Final 8, and it was a night to remember! Lagos Legends staged an unforgettable comeback, Kwara Falcons' winning streak was snapped, and defending champions Rivers Hoopers asserted their dominance.

In a heart-stopping opener, Lagos Legends conjured a stunning comeback to edge Nigeria Customs 73-68. The Customs team had seized control, leading 17-26 and 34-36 in the first and second quarters, but Legends' unrelenting spirit proved unstoppable.

Gboko City Chiefs eked out a nail-biting 52-50 win over Kano Pillars, setting the stage for a thrilling tournament.

Meanwhile, Nile University refused to be defeated, mounting a stunning comeback to dethrone Kwara Falcons 76-74. The University Boys' resilience and determination left spectators on the edge of their seats.

In a one-sided affair, Rivers Hoopers cruised to a 73-50 victory, sending a chilling warning to their opponents.
