Mabel sets sights on perfection in second stanza

As the Nigeria women Football League set to kick start the second stanza of the league this weekend, players hope for better outing in the second phase of the Nigerian Women Football League with lots of expectation.


Rivers Angels left back Mabel Effiom has added her voice that women league in Nigeria is improving every season which ensures that female footballers in the country are well taking care off.


On her part she asks for more perfection and a better outing for Rivers Angels Football Club in the second stanza of Nigeria Women Football League.


“I am praying to God for more perfection in my game and also pray that he see us (Rivers Angels) through in this second round.


“I believe that no female team in the league now, most especially Nigeria is push over. She added


Mabel who plies her trade with Rivers State female giant (Rivers Angels) as left back defender has set sight on attracting clubs outside the shores of Nigeria.

Initially the NWFL second stanza was earlier scheduled to resume on June 7, however, it was later moved by two weeks to enable the board deal with persistent issues surrounding players’ welfare and entitlements.
